How to use live voting systems
You could conduct an interactive quiz, an opinion poll, brainstorming ideas, or survey. Information you receive through quiz voting or otherwise, while increasing engagement also gives you a measurable way to qualify the reactions of your audience. AudienceAlive are happy to advise on the best solution for your outcome.
Turn your attendees into participants
Our lightweight, credit card-sized, handheld voting keypad device is used in audience participation as an engaging, real-time voting system. Your delegates can cast a vote based on a series of questions listed on a presentation slide, by each audience member pressing the button corresponding to their response. These responses are then collated immediately by a receiver, and are presented instantly via an attractive graph or chart integrated into your slideshow. Imagine a voting system which is more efficient and easier to conduct, with no long waiting times for a manual count. Votes can be anonymous which means that you can get more honest responses; you don’t get that with a twitter display! You will also be able to get the opinions of those normally unwilling to speak up, not just the vocal majority.

How Can I Use Live Voting Systems At My Conference?
The system consists of a keypad for each audience member, a receiver, and software that allows questions posed by the presenter. The system allows presenters to pose a series of questions, with the ten button keypads allowing audience members to enter information, which is immediately available to the presenter. Anonymous audience members responses are aggregated real time on a screen, the results then used to form the basis of deeper discussion and understanding in a wide range of subject areas.
In a registered vote audience members are given a specific keypad which is registered to their name this allowing further insight into specific audience members’ opinions.
Audience Alive can create an Interactive Themed Quiz based around your business or sector. The quiz uses keypads to allow contestants to answer multiple-choice questions that increase in difficulty. The questions can be tailored to your companies business sector or specific theme (eg: Sports) along with lighthearted general trivia questions. The audience can vote as teams or as individuals. Participants have to answer the multiple choice questions which are displayed on the screen by pressing the required button on the Keypad. Participants can change their mind – the last button pressed is the taken as their answer. Each right answer is awarded points. There are rounds of questions with a leader board after each round. The overall winner is easily identified via the fastest finger leaderboard.
In recent years there has been a marked increase in the level of voting at company general meetings and a move from a show of hands to resolutions being taken by electronic poll. These factors have led to a need to automate the voting process. In response to the changes, Audience Alive has developed an electronic voting system that streamlines the voting process: Polling is conducted live via our moderator and motions are added on the spot for greater transparency. Votes can be weighted by the attendee’s shareholding. Votes are recorded instantly and accurately with the results being displayed live on-screen. A comprehensive set of reports are produced post event.
As with classic BBC television shows such as The Doha Debates, Audience Alive can facilitate the voting at a company or sector debate on a specific subject. The audience are asked to vote on the motion at the start of the debate and then again once the debate has concluded. The comparative result is then shown identifying any swing in consensus as a result of the debate.
