Cityscape Awards 2015 for Emerging Markets offer international architects and leading real estate developers a prestigious platform where they can communicate and present their projects and get acknowledged.
The real estate and architect industry gathered together at the Conrad Hotel Dubai for a glittering awards ceremony. With a strong international presence, 37 finalists representing projects from all around the world including China, India, Turkey, Russia and Brazil, eagerly gathered to await the announcement of the 2015 winners.
The Challenge: We were tasked to produce the main awards presentation featuring all the finalists and showcasing their projects, backdrop animations and overall theme for the awards wrapper. The challenge with this project was to take the whole production to the next level where audience should not see plain PowerPoint presentation with project listings and images. Informa, the client briefed us to produce animations similar to TV-show style production. Another challenge in this project was the requirement from client that we should be able to change anything up to the last minute with winners being announced only a few hours before the actual awards ceremony.
To address these challenge, we used animated backgrounds for the main theme and used vibrant animations for the content on top of it.. while producing the whole project in PowerPoint –giving us the required edge and flexibility to perform any last minute edits.
The Outcome: We successfully pulled together a world class show with a professional looking animated on-screen PowerPoint production and a happy client.
